Travel to Battle River
WHEN TO VISIT:
Fly-fishing season at Battle typically begins in early August. The Sockeye Salmon are spawning at this time so their eggs serve as the perfect fresh meal for a Rainbow Trout. Bear photography season starts in early September when the Brown Bears inhabit the majority of the river, fishing for salmon to prepare for the long winter.
